we will go willing to the bowser and pay $3 a litre while grumbling and not doing anything about it.
this is why governments of all persuasions local state and federal in oz will always walk over joe blow.
tell the people that double taxation is illegal in any form i.e. gst on fuel and they look at you with glazed eyes. we would have to be the most overgoverned insipid lot in the world.
