This from Dutton yesterday offering his backhanded bipartisan support for the 15% pay raise for childhood educators (slightly paraphrased): "I support the pay raise, but if Labor wins the next election, they will take that pay raise back" (cut their pay by 15%).
Along with his other outlandish thought bubbles the above has to be one of the most preposterous. I am now convinced that Dutton has cemented himself as the village idiot. Hardly the person for the job of running an entire country - a milk bar perhaps. It also shows the low level of acceptance into the police force, given his former profession. Certainly not the type of man that should be given the power of the State and a gun to enforce it, which is the case for circa >50% of our police forces IMO.
