Hi Juke …. I bought a few yesterday but that’s not a recommendation.
It was an impulse.
The rationale was ‘hope’
ie I hoped this price season was temporary, and figured I might as well return the consolidation payment (or part of it) back in to EZL and lower my average a bit on the basis directors may still have something positive in the works after a series of events this year that seem - to me - to be part of a bigger plan (ie selling Westoz and Ozgrowth, then the capital return, then consolidation).
As far a coming downturns go ….. I just can’t see it right now.
Euroz has a firm historic position in WA, and WA is supposed to be somewhat immune to effects of recession and new public companies seem to be launching here left, right and centre.
- That strength is supported by the fact so many Eastern States funds have been moving in/headhunting and opening local branches, and that probably makes things a fair bit harder for the Euroz Hartleys people , but as said they have the historic (good) reputation and thus the ear of local bankers, high profile business leaders and more.
