The problem I have with it is lies in the phrase, 'the other will I suspect eventually relist.' You suspect?

The company should have committed absolutely to relisting when the uranium price reaches a certain level. Or at a bare minimum committed to relist when the uranium sector 'recovers', that's vague enough to give them wriggle room.

They could also have offered to create a de facto market for Samphire shares to be traded off market. You should be able to list your bids and offers on their website, or at a minimum place expressions of interest and contact details. By doing that and creating at least minimal liquidity they would also immediately increase the value of the shares.

When Minemakers demerged TNT with its Tasmanian mining assets it did almost the same thing as USA have done, except that they pretended they were going to relist. The value placed by the company on the TNT component was 0.10 per share. After a few years of silence shareholders were offered a fraction of that for their shares and talk of relisting had vanished. Shareholders were railroaded into parting with their shares for practically nothing, although I refused on principle.

In my opinion shareholders in Samphire should be putting pressure on management to give an indication of what their strategy is on relisting or providing some other form of liquidity. Otherwise, what have we been given in exchange for USA's 'prime assets'?
