If the board had that mindset you would not be as finanacially penalised as has happened. A healthy attitude towards shareholders and good basic management based on Net tangible assets, Earnings per share covering the dividend twice, and keeping debt to equity around 1 to 1.5 is where the board needs to keep its focus as the company returns to strength. There is no denying that this is a great time for the Lupin market to make money enrich shareholders and achieve their other commitments to customers, Food manufacturers and Farmers. A weak or failed company helps nobody!
