Basic starting rates for a bottom level carer now are around $50+ an hour for normal weekday hours, same carers $75/$100 per hour overnight rates. These aren't people with any special skills - they command even higher rates.
Would be great money if you can get it to look after someone that is sleeping for most of the time!
