Very good post humble and well worth the TU's received.
Like you, I believe that we are in the laps of the Gods and hoping that something will come up to get us out of this mess. The only thing that I am very concerned with, is the constant silence. As to why they are continuously keeping us in that way, that is totally beyond me. I've read a good post from someone in another company's thread that has had experience with companies managements that have spent most of their employments life in majors of some sort, and IMO it fits very well with what is happening here. If you or anyone else wants me to bring it across, I feel quite sure that that poster will not mind me bringing it across and you will soon find out what I mean. EXACTLY TO A " T".
Like you, I am thinking that the only solution we have is to either back the company, or just sell out. It is sad though that one has to be forced to do such a thing in selling out, when there were no reasons whatsoever in the past to be worth even talking about it.
I am very concerned at the power that the Chinese have yielded and enforced upon us, and when we don't know if they will do it again should they not get what they want and under their own terms. What were the real terms and condition that they demanded of us before we restarted trading, in order to keep us going?
Have we been told the whole lot of the story, and the force they used upon us in allowing us to continue mining.??
Let me tell you that ever since we came back trading, it is not the first time that some thoughts have flashed through my mind about selling out and move on, but, if we are to look at it properly, the liquidity isn't really there. You wold have to find someone willing to take your share off your hands if you wished to maximise your selling price and the consequent return. Besides, and probably like you, my loss will be huge.
Finally I have to add something to one of your comments. And that is the one about the company allocating the 15% of shares on issue which will not require our approval.
Below is your comment:
"" We still have a low share issue (and a low share price sadly) so even if we have to place 15% of shares on issue we will still have under 300 mill shares outstanding.""
Now Humble, it sounds very good that we will be still at a low share issue even if we were to place those shares to someone willing to take them up. But, with the current sp, how much money do you think that we will be able to receive.? Not much my friend and possibly only enough to plug a small hole.
Besides, don't forget that the Chinese got us by the balls there in saying that we will have to get their permission and approval first, before we can do such a thing. So, if they say NO, we won't be allowed to do it either.
Now, do you honestly think that they will allow that to happen and getting themselves diluted thus reducing that squirrel grip they have on us.??
IMO, and unless they will claim that privilege themselves first, I VERY MUCH DOUBT IT!!!
As the saying goes, they have got the squirrel grip on us, and IMO the company has allowed that to happen. It wasn't you or I that did that. They did it!!!
The AGM will be upon us again soon, So let's see what they will come up with next.
The point is, that the Chinese will have a good say on that too. And they will make sure that they will use the voting power they hold to their own advantage...NOT OURS!! You can rest assured of that.
Cheers mate
