WinterMute - You bought into a totally different company.

Pre-2008, DIG was known as ComTel (CMO) whose focus was on mobile telecommunications. Yes, it got into difficult times and that was when Co-investor and Co stepped in and over the next 4 years, sold out of the struggling telecommunication businesses and bought two growing digital advertising companies, Empowered and dgm. Now they intend to acquire a further 4 companies to make a leading digital advertising company in the Asia-Pacific region.

Co-Investor now hold 70%+ of DIG. It's whole investment philosophy is to invest in under-the-radar companies, restructure them, grow them organically as well as via acquisitions, and sell out after about 5 years of holding (see Travel.com.au and Software of Excellence). They have held DIG for just over 5 years now and have an avg entry price of about 2.4c (initial entry of 3c and then rights issue at 1.8c). They will agressively be trying to grow DIG over the next year or two (eg. by acquiring the proposed 4 companies) and then will likely instigate a takeover at some stage to exit. They have invested considerable time and money in DIG and they will want to be rewarded at the end of the day.
