Agreed, my stellar performers have totally OP'd my portfolio but that's the beauty of spreading your risk. As for SOM and MBE, that's exactly what I'm backing, getting in early in the belief that if their business model is sound I'm happy to back them and ride the roller coaster in the hope that one or two years down the track they will be throwing out loads of cash. I apply that principle to most of my investments but you can't win them all of course and sometimes u get it completely wrong (my theory goes if 7 of 10 investment are right then Im doing well). I had a look at SBB but i just don't trust anything that comes out of China (not transparent enough and their culture is completely different to ours). Well done on HFA (I think I saw that being spruiked by Pie Funds out of NZ). Others that have done very well for me are VTG, HSN, ELD, LHC just to name a few. CCP on the other hand is a nice stock in a conducive environment which theoretically should do well once my attraction to it. Like I said we probably need to create an investors corner to discuss stocks and make some money.
