Buy an IP. minimum down. My best has been a 100% loan and had it positively geared. Renter pays off the capital , govt assists with negative gearing and depreciation, even if it holds its value - nothing down , someone else pays it off, tax deduction if earning a good income. You guys just do not get it esp when debt level is pegged and 10 -15 years time the debt level will be peanuts. Any equity accrued in that time by paying down mortgage and or growth leaves you well in front.
Definitely Long Term ploy and nothing down. One does not buy the best with IPs , coupled with other investments, does not have to be all or nothing , the chances of going backwards are nigh impossible.
