Totol, thank you for the balancing comments about Soros; there was a need to hear another view of his motives re Lynas and Malaysia.
My own views about him are somehere in the middle, because I couldn't help feeling at the time some distaste at his brazen single-handed attack on the UK pound. That any single person could succeed in such an attack seemed to me a bit over the top in principle... (I also remember feeling some minor satisfaction at the time when the Hunt billionaire Texans tried and failed to take over the world silver market.
Perhaps my capitalist proclivities ultimately baulk at extreme demonstrations of its success!
To me, the Gates foundation seems a more desirable use of extreme wealth.... Or is it just that we all misunderstand Mr Soros!
