I think you will find that it was through using multi physics simulation that they were able to better design the MEMS so they could physically achieve better performance (~15dB improvement). They already had achieved ~50dB in 2020 version of the MEMS. I believe that was the one shown in the last video being played in the cleanroom with performance of <50dB. The indication is that the current production version has given >70dB at 1m.

I don't know how many times I have to repost this published slide from their presentation before people read it properly.
