Aegis Therapeutics are indeed competition for SUDA. They're also in the business of drug delivery platforms to support trans mucosal delivery of API's. Their permeation enhancer (patented) are alkyl maltosides (a detergent) which improves permeation across membranes.
The 2-3 minutes to achieve therapeutic drug levels was from a press release in 2016. Curiously this expedited timeframe hasn't been claimed in more recent clinical trials including the NDA submitted by Dr Reddy's for the formulation.

In fact the data doesn't seem overly impressive at all to me. 48% of patients were pain free after 2 hours compared to a placebo.

Anyway some clinical data from 01H is required to find out how well the hydrotropes formulation is compared to Imitrex or the DFN-02 platform. Time will tell I guess.
