Not that I know of.

But then again I'm not aware of any ocean oil spill of the magnitude of this one -

which just happens to be ongoing -

in the section of the world's oceans that are subject to hurricanes, and -

unfortunately at the beginning of the very time that those hurricanes start to form/be born.


I don't think that's all just serendipity.
