Great summary in 2010 Work Program Announcement released on 15 February 2010, in brief (cut and paste):

The prime objectives for the Company during 2010 will be to prove up substantial economic resources at the flagship iron ore and gold projects, namely the Robertson Range and Hamersley iron ore projects in the Pilbara, and the South Laverton gold project in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.

IRON ORE The principal focus of exploration will be the recently granted Robertson Range project. The tenements adjoin those of FerrAus Ltd and Atlas Iron which hold a combined resource base of some 200Mt of high grade iron ore.

GOLD PROJECTS The principal focus will be on the South Laverton gold project located northeast of Kalgoorlie (Figure 3). Legacys South Laverton tenement package lies along the Keith Kilkenny Tectonic Zone (KKTZ) and the southern part of the Laverton Tectonic Zone (LTZ). These structures host numerous major gold mines, with the LTZ in particular hosting gold resources of some 20 million ounces.

There are numerous gold targets within the extensive tenement package, but initial work will be centred on the Stophanis Well, Yerilla, Yilgangi and Mt Celia-Safari prospects. In summary: Stophanis Well
A long strike of the abandoned Patricia gold mine, and showing several significant gold in soil anomalies. An initial RAB program has been completed and final assays are awaited. Several gold geochemical and geophysical targets remain to be drilled.
6000m RAB/Aircore and 2000m RC drilling planned, with initial program commencing in April 2010.

    Yerilla
The Yerilla prospect lies over the margins of a small syenite stock enveloped by a shear system representing a splay from the major Keith Kilkenny Tectonic Zone (KKTZ). To the north, the KKTZ hosts the major Leonora gold mining camp. Numerous small gold workings are present in the area with the most significant being the Bull Terrier deposit which has an Inferred Resource of 527,000t at 1.92 g/t gold (1.0 g/t cutoff) for 32,000oz gold.
Initial 2500m RAB/Aircore drilling planned for February/March 2010 with potential follow up 1500m RC drilling planned for May 2010.

    Yilgangi
Historic gold mines located close to the recently re-established Porphyry gold mine (Saracen Resources). Potential high grade gold shoots as well as potential for virgin mineralisation under shallow cover.
    3000m RAB/Aircore drilling, 2000m RC drilling planned for June/July 2010.

    Mt Celia Safari
The Mt Celia Project lies within the Laverton Tectonic Zone (LTZ), a major deformation zone that hosts a large number of major gold mines including Wallaby (8 Moz), Sunrise Dam (8 Moz) and Granny Smith (2.5 Moz)

Past exploration at Mt Celia has focussed on the northern part of the tenement around the Kangaroo Bore historic workings resulting in a JORC inferred resource of 46,000 oz gold. There are numerous gold drilling intersections outside this resource area warranting follow up drilling. In addition, substantial areas are masked by shallow sandy cover that has hindered prior exploration. The exploration at Mt Celia will be conducted in concert with work on the companys Safari licence some 4 kilometres to the south, and located immediately to the north of the Safari mine (1 Moz).
3000m RAB/Aircore drilling and potential 2000m RC drilling planned. The RAB drilling is planned for April 2010 depending on Statutory clearances.

And to add to that read the previous post on this thread by zmans. Could Ferraus, Brockman or Atlas be buying LCY?
