Whilst the market generally will likely fall I believe the price of oil and companies with conventional oil and gas assets in relatively stable locations will see a flood of buyers.I hold both TAP and KAR and believe the market will take a keen interest in them in coming days. Ghana,Brunei and South America must surely be seen as outside the area of risk as well as the gas and oil fields off the West Australian coast.I am not convinced that coal seam gas and shale oil are likely to be significant beneficiaries as the jury appears to still be out on potential environmental risks associated with each of those.
