Hi Blackened, just wondering what you had in mind when you posted 'I already know how bad this company is'.
I'm much more comfortable with a holding in EVN than in CAH and CQT because I believe it has the makings of a strong multi-mine company with substantial resources and reserves at a time when gold could well be expected to exceed its previous highs (nothwithstanding any short-term dips), and with no debt and a significant cash holding for acquisitions and expansion.
With a high level of support from institutions and Newcrest, EVN is likely to grow into a major gold producer, once the teething problems are ironed out.
