So a takeover is positive in the sense that it usualy involves a price increase, but negative in the sense that if Vale bought out Avanco for X-ammount of money, in two years time the worth of Avanco could become a higher value of Y-ammount per share.
Seems like a takeover would benifit all holders except those with extremely long term intentions. Am i right?
