use to live in PNG so know first hand about that side of the coin. . If you are going to hold a gold stock this is one of the better ones IMO.
LGL cant be that bad if Blackrock just increased shares from 212.6 million to 324.5 million as per announcemnet 16 december.
I hold LGL for long term - gotta have a gold play somewhere cos I think it is going to 2000us/oz plus - check out long term trend on gold chart.
The strength of the aussie dollar is what is preventing our australian listed gold miners to really soar.
But hold tight - it may just be around the corner.. if big downside economic news breaks (probably just a matter of time in US/europe) - there will be a rush to the usd -> will strenghten -> gold will rise -> so will gold stocks...
At least that is my theory
