I listened into a commentary on the outlook for base metals by FatProphets this morning and they had just the same take. Zinc and nickel are their recommendations. They go for zinc because there is a significant demand - they cite China/BHP's recent presentation etc - and a decreasing supply. They also see the crisis in supply for zinc continuing and deepening around 2010. (A couple of weeks away, SA Government time.)
Useful commentaryfrom FatProphets but I kind of think Galvanise did a better job!
