The only reason is the leverage available. The options still have 18-months to go.
I agree no real reason yet to buy. Also no real depth in the options. To chase them could spook the market. Must admit a real spike would meet my selfish needs.
However if you look over the last 6-months a lot of options have been accumulated. No doubt the belief is that the FPO shares will be worth a lot more than between now and June 2007.
I have kept my "options" open by holding both, have twice the number of options as FPO. I intend to convert the options this financial year if I can sell my FPO at 8.4c to enable the change to take place at no additional cost to me plus a small profit.
