There are many many factors that influence the success or otherwise of a drug / vaccine, not just that it works. Thalidomide was exceptional at reducing sickness in pregnant women. However, the well publicised consequences of the drug nothing short of a human tragedy, and for most of us beyond comprehension.

The clinical trials process is designed to prevent any similar problems occurring with future pharmaceuticals. There are many factors that may prevent CVAC making it to market but the sake of cancer patients everywhere and us mere shareholders, I hope not.

Plenty of risk plenty of reward.
