Sa more isolated country roads 100kmph is normal with half hour allowed for load and unload time. $110 per hour is normal here for tandem with trailer. 2.5 hours is $275. Other states, more congested roads, I can understand high rates. Leigh Creek is SA and lonely roads. Not sure if you guys charge for lunch and other breaks. That would affect your average speed.
Not saying I don't believe your numbers but they seem high to me for SA. Again road trains should be more efficient than a tandem with trailer.
