One thing to note is there is an increased demand for graphite in the heat sink market as most lighting manufacturers are moving to nano carbon impregnated composite heatsinks because they are cheaper to make than aluminium, lighter and can be pumped out in their millions through injection moulding without the problems of extruded or cast metal heatsinks.
Now taking this on board how many light bulbs do you think are made each year and given they will use approx 50-100gms each of graphite how much graphite do you think this market is going to need alone??
Im excluding all the other heatsink applications just focusing on lighting tech..
