This is an interesting bit of news weather it means anything for PYC into the future who knows. Interesting because firstly it is Medimmune expanding in Cambridge but secondly i never realised that Medimmune was previously CAT haha .....
MedImmune expands in Cambridge to exploit new drug success

MedImmune has launched its second major drug from Cambridge the first to help suffers of Lupus in 50 years and opened a new clinical development unit at Granta Park where it aims to create more groundbreaking drugs.
New jobs are being created at the Granta park facility.
The new drug Benlysta has been approved by the US Food & Drug Administration for marketing in the US and is about to be available through Human Genome Sciences and GlaxoSmithKline for sufferers of Lupus, an auto-immune disease in which a persons antibodies attack themselves.
Around one in 1,000 people suffer from Lupus: The antibody was originally identified in Cambridge by the then Cambridge Antibody Technology (now MedImmmune, the global biologics unit of AstraZeneca) in collaboration with Human Genome Sciences.
Andy Williams, MedImmunes VP and Cambridge site general manager said: This is the second major new drug which has been discovered at our Cambridge facility following on from Humira, a leading rheumatoid arthritis biologic.
MedImmunes new offices at Granta Parks Riverside facility will initially house 50 staff involved in clinical development and will grow to 90 in the next one to two years.
