Does anyone know if the stuff that makes up Permetrex - the vehicle - can be effective on p-acne by itself and/or if (due to pour QA) when its formulation is partially changed so is its effect?

From Botanix's patent application:

Definitions: CBD: cannabidiol,
IPA: isopropyl alcohol,
HDS: hexylmethyldisiloxane,
PG: propylene glycol, OA: oleyl alcohol,

• 5%CBD/10%OA/10%PG/ 10%HDS/65%IPA

Claims
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a cannabinoid and a siloxane wherein the cannabinoid is dissolved in the composition.The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 wherein the cannabinoid is cannabidiol.The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 or 2 wherein the composition is for topical application.

The pharmaceutical composition according to any one of the preceding claims wherein the siloxane: a) contains 2 or 3 silicon atoms; b) has a level of volatility about the same as that of isopropyl alcohol; and/or c) is selected from the group consisting of: hexamethyldisiloxane, octamethyltrisiloxane and combinations thereof.

It couldn't be the vehicle, could it?
Any thoughts? (apart from those the company has been put forward)
