    As someone with an economics background - I will say the failures of 1929 were exacerbated by failed economic policy and action.

    I agree markets look hot. Fund managers will eventually take profits, that's a given. The retail market will inevitably get spooked. However my view is that it just makes it more imperative to pick stocks with good fundamentals. Industries that the world need despite a market crash. Growth stocks that will be able to survive short term challenges. Don't eat all your capital and continue to buy consistently regardless of what the market is doing (I put in a certain amount a month regardless of where the market is at). Markets go up, markets go down - consistent investment will mean coming out the other side sooner. Of course this means you have to have capital, time and patience in your side.

    Im very much anti ETFs at this point, but think the buy opportunity for those will come soon. I'm accumulating gold stocks at this point.

    anyways I'm rambling and so circling back to ATS, I think POO has bottomed which would be nice for me personally. If you bought at 40c, patience is going to be your best friend. But for oil, I don't think we can see any worse than March/April 2020.
