All very good points, they have everything in order, all the ducks are lined up. The biggest factor is supply and demand. Noone will look at shale if conventional oil is in high supply, the price is a factor too. Investors would look at their profit percentage when investing into the play based on current and predicted oil price. That's the main issue I can see, well drilling is easy once a partner comes along and pumps money into the fields to get that oil out.
The positives IMO highly outweigh the negatives. Be ready to wait a few years.
