The Board of Republic Gold (“Republic” or the “Company”) today announces that over the next
few days the Company will host a second delegation of senior executives from the major Chinese
mining group that visited the Company in late 2007.
The members of this new delegation include one member of the delegation that was hosted in
December and two new delegates. One of these delegates is the Chairman of the overall holding
company that represented in these visits.
The delegation travelled to Australia yesterday and will spend the next few days visiting with the
Company before flying back to China on Thursday.
