FMG built cloudbreak in 2 years, and that can do 40 million tonnes per year of iron ore,I doubt RMX would need one that big. Cloudbreak does not have the advantage of a major highway right next to it, so transport time will be way quicker.

Yes I understand cloudbreak is iron ore but it nearly has the same processes as gold, still has crushing and screening just has the extra gold processes.

My estimate on RMX getting a mine is <1 year if they wanted to.

RMX also said that they are going to source second hand equipment, so all they would have to do is utilise the major highway 30 minutes away to get the plant down to site, also RMX is right next to a major port, so mining tech from Australia can be shipped and transported with ease.

Also with the drilling, the times would be for a 50m hole in diamond drilling usually around 50 man hours, depending on the rig and operators, then got core retrieval and transport, then the geos to sample it then reporting. If you really want the report out it could be around 1-2 weeks for a dril from start to finish, but you can have multiple cores drilled and sampled at the same time ect

Also my experience with mining is building diamond drill rigs and now work in the iron ore sector of WA, currently typing this from Cloudbreak village. That's why I haven't posted much lately, been working FIFO.
