    I keep hearing the same argument.

    what’s to stop Facebook or google from pushing out Appen.

    whats to stop PayPal or MasterCard or visa from pushing Afterpay out.

    what’s to stop amazon from pushing out company A, B, C, D, etc...

    Nothing - but they won’t. If it is not their core business, they won’t launch teams and waste resources to combat each and every business that emerges.
