I've sat through a couple of Dyesol AGM's. They went on for hours and hours with lots of talk and lots of questions but in the end I concluded that it was all a game of puffery and smoke and mirrors from the Dyesol team (mainly Gavin Tullock and Richard Caldwell). To me despite the length of the meetings they gave us little of substance and that had been the Dyesol team's intention all along (in hindsight they themselves had little positive information in the first place).

I attended last November's AGM but as soon as I heard Mr Caldwell babbling on again I left. Obvisouly, to me at least, once again he had no intention to provide us with information of substance (and again most probably because he himself had little of substance at that time).

Mr Caldwell is probably a very smart bloke. If Dyesol is in fact finally on the cusp of moving forward towards commercialisation I reckon he will be upfront about it (at last he will have something worth talking about) and will quite willingly provide specifics. But if I go to the EGM and if he starts off waffling again then I will just leave. No amount of questioning will alter the stark reality if it is simply business as usual at Dyesol.

PS I notice that they are now advertising to replace Angela Geary (who apparently did not come back to work after taking her holidays). I do not know why she left Dyesol but I reckon she did a good job of turning around the communications arrangements at Dyesol during her stint there.
