There are 2 components to the capital raising.
1. An instituitional book build - This was completed last thursday and raised $1.5B at $36.75 / share
2. An offer to retail holders of a maxmium of $5000 worth of shares at the lower of $36.75 and a weighted average of the sp over a number of days.
I do not understand natsinc's comments. The rising effectively finished last week. I can see no relation between the capital rasing and the sp. Natsinc would need to explain his comment.
My personal view is that the sp reflects some concern that CSL may not get the aquisition past the US regulators.
