What's Up with Siumut?

While the announcement was probably the reason the sp looked solid today, the question has to be asked: What's Up?
Eric Jensen was so unclear a month ago about Siumut's support for Kvanefjeld (Kuannersuit), that they lost the support of the Democrats, thus triggering an election.
Now he appears to have reversed himself while denying it.
Or has he?
Slippery.
Maybe serious talks have taken place within Siumut in the interim, since they realize they could lose the election to IA and need a coalition with the Democrats to retain power.
But then, why not just rekindle the coalition and avoid an election?
Perhaps the Democrats aim to increase their influence and are playing with Siumut.

There are a lot of good Siumut members who have a different opinion on this subject, and that is the case with many members along the coast.
