Basically there would have been some profit taking as the price of oil stalled, some traders no doubt making some tidy short term profits. Then more of a sell of as the oil price dropped considerably in the last few days, as the drop looks sustained possibly for a few weeks (until a decent cold snap in the US!- but their not forecasting one hence the drop).

Yes, you would have thought Kapul spud ann, maybe a slight delay, nothing uncommon, I guess maybe a ann next week.

Reading that Icn thread seems to indicate a possible delay (till 10/12)in finalsing (at least its still being actioned) concerning financing with the other JV's. I guess this time next week or mon week should give some activity.

I wouldn't expect much action till then or until some oil shows in Kapul(possibly a few weeks away) , but its a high risk venture, so don't be surprised if its a duster, but hold your hat if it isn't.
