yeah what's the story with the stock market going down today, is this just normal volatility? I keep hearing of bad news all over the place, yet inflation is sky high in Australia. The link on the Australian asset bubble is interesting, my fiance and I just can not find a compelling reason to buy in Australia. We are actually thinking of buying overseas somewhere instead, and investing in say India and moving the money directly to an overseas property investment thereby skipping tax in Australia.

But either way is it really all doom and gloom, surely people still need to eat, sleep and have fun and it generally seems to be only poorly managed and corrupt regimes that struggle economically on a permanent basis.
