Rare Earth explorers at the moment are not attracting a lot of interest.
For example ARU in the Northern Territory is well advanced with with some signed agreements and a large resource but it's share price has dropped just under 60% in the last 6 months.
MRD looks to have a potentially attractive resource but there are a lot of companies working on rare earth projects at the moment.
A lot will depend on whether MRD can get its act together ahead of other companies/what China does with their supplies and if companies like ARU a lot further down the track will soak up market demand for rare earth - not forgetting there are rare earth resource projects being developed elsewhere overseas which will also meet market requirements for rare earth.
Time will tell if the Board can get their act together, prove up the apparent potential and move the project along
