they're using leachpads to mine gold, and from their quarterly results, you can see it's more or less consistent, and makes sense. More processed ores, will result in higher bullion production if not in the current Q, then in the next Q. And vice versa, if processed ore/grades are lower. Bullion will be lower, the effect of ore processed on bullion production can be seen in the next Q's. We can see that for barrick's leachpads, their turnover is approximately 3 months at most. What they mine, they leached out consistently in 3 months time.
