Twerking being a new fad doesn't mean you can't make fads out of old things, as you pointed out. It just requires a fluctuation in popularity.

I didn't say climate change wasn't real or that we weren't altering it. Goodness. A once in 2100 year flood means there was a bigger one 2100 years ago. The climate has been around for billions of years. That's not to say we haven't made things more extreme than they otherwise would be, we presumably have, but it's still within naturally precedented levels and rates of change.

Sunlight may be free, but hasn't allowed anyone else to make free or commercially viable algae oil, and I don't know why you think one piece of input being free is an argument with any weight.
