Good grief, honey. You ask a question with such an obvious answer that I don't bother responding, then complain that I didn't respond, so I do and you mock me for stating the obvious! If you consider yourself the least toxic person around I can only imagine how you would post if you considered yourself toxic!
Obviously ponds are going to be more land intensive, but you act like the AEB method doesn't have its own additional costs. You can't run something in an enclosed, controlled system without it being more labour intensive, have higher upkeep costs, etc. Please don't ask me to explain that to you as well, you've already abused me for giving obvious answers.
You happily just accept it as fact that AEB's system is better, even though it is untested (unsuccessfully anyway) and intuitively it seems like a clear like move expensive method. There's a reason we grow our vegetables in open fields rather than enclosed, stacked containers. Have a think about that.
