I post here primarily because I'm an investor in Senetas.
I probably would not bother posting if I was not invested in the company.
I may read if researching opinions, but would not regularly post negative input.
I expect Senetas to go up soon but have been wrong before and can be patient (like I was in the 30 cent phase), so I hold and buy more on the perception that it is good value.
I hold many and have traded many times, but not in the last month.
I find that nothing I or anyone else says that is positive influences the share price. Most people reading are already invested and convinced to varying degrees. Doubters sell.
I am interpreting out loud when I post- what I expect, respond to what I have read here or else where, or what I have heard in rumour or meetings.
I am not a TA expert. I do not care whether people agree or disagree with my POV.
eg) Mr.Dollar and I share the same enthusiasm with Senetas, but with different reasoning and expectations. Same mountain, different routes. I appreciate his view.
But, why do people post negative comments without backing up those comments with substance (TA evidence, or fundamental proof) ? Why do they make regular posts at all when it is clear from their comments that they do not like the company or it's prospects ?
Why would they bother to post ? Because they probably expect their posts to be seed of fear and selling and they can buy cheaper shares, imo.
I agree that the Forum is for all ideas, but the negative posts are generally short, lacking substance, and point out the obvious like "sp is going down",or "company says lumpy earnings" like we all missed it the first time at the AGM.
We all see, we all know what has been said by management.
But these negative posters often disappear when the price is going up, like Maggiet. In short, that is why they are called downrampers. If they posted a chart pointing out the resistance and support levels, or if they expanded on thier negative sentiment with reasons, then maybe we would credit them with some foresight and analytical expertise.
