Majority of my friends are non-anglos. But that's not the point.
My problem with multiculturalism is having to live with full-on corruption. Like it's a normal part of life - when it has never been part of my life growing up and beyond. But now it is. Multi-culturalism means importing the good aspects along with the bad. Like corruption - which is endemic to all aspects of life in some countries. I work in the health sector. Hardly anything is audited it seems. I tell you from my point of view- corruption of medicare is becoming rapidly endemic. And incredibly obvious.
Because the aus govt has a giant teat hanging out to the world due to the ageing electorate it has to placate. A constituency that generally believes (maybe deliberately naively) that the more consultations, tests and medications - the better.
