like I mentioned other posts here.....my brother loves qld ...spent most of his working life there....been back on the nsw/vic border about 15 years.....went for a hol may 2004 to rocky....intended to spend 6 months there...when he arrived they said it was the coldest in 100 years.....he froze...it rained....he came back in aug (its cold on the border below freezing in winter)...obviously forgot about last time...
went back mar 08....hardly any sun...and cold...but this time they said it was the wettest in 100 years.... he could not stand it any more....where had all the sun and warmth gone..... back on the border its getting a bit hot about 30...but needing the heater on in the evenings, and NO rain......its very different from the normal.....if the seas warming and the ice melting....why is it so different on the mainland.....global warming is only half of it cheers
