Not to put too fine a point on it - BNB are selling their future prospects to try and buy time.
That suggests there either a/ isn't much time left (most likely) and / or b/ they are buyin time hoping for a buyout offer (possible given the departure of two major shareholder / founder / exec types from the Board.
In the current market I would only be making the latter bet with money you can afford to lose 100% of.
My personal opinion only so do your own DD,
