    I held afterpay all the way down to $9 in covid, and it was quite a psychological experience. I'd like to say it gets easier, and it does, but it's still difficult to stomach each time it happens.

    If you have conviction in your investment thesis this should help to overcome any periods of negative return. If you are simply trading or scalping for cash, it is very difficult to have any sort of confidence in the companies you buy.
