Now I know Aussie not big fans of African Gold Producers as we can see from some of the market values they place on the likes of Aussie Gold producers OBM,PNR,RMS,CAI etc
RMS has the same Production profile as GAU will have from next year and pretty much the same AISC .. but GAU has double the Gold reserves ..RMS has a larger Gold resource..(But I'm sure GAU will grow the Gold resource much higher than present M&I )
RMS two Gold plants still smaller overall tonnage @ 4.6Mtpa Vs GAU 5Mtpa Plant
Both nil debt _ high cash balances
RMS EV = A$1.69Bill
GAU EV = A$150mill (once the deal is done early new year)
GAU will pay U$85mill in total over DEC 24-25-26 to Goldfields for the 45% holding in the Asanko mining operation + 1% smelter royalty on one deposit till agreed Gold has been produced
now GAU will be 90% not 100% of operation(10% Ghana Govt) so net GOLD production/reserves will be touch less etc ..
GAU has some pretty good neighbours ...to their Asanko mine.. ASX listed PRU of course nearby
Disc-purchased 100k GAU shares on the TSX a month ago ... up 26% at present
be interesting if any other has a better Gold producer or soon-to-be producer than my pick GAU ..took me many months going over ASX along with a few other NYSE/TSX listed miners to find GAU ...
