money certainly gives power and respect - and, I think that it's one area where negative reinforcement has as much to do with the drive as positive reinforcement - to a degree ---
it's really a horrible thing and the drive to wealth beyond a basic security is totally illogical, wasteful and just plain dumb --
interestingly enough - money buys happiness - but, ONLY to a level -- I can't recall the level - about ?? US$75k per year I think - after that - she's downhill --
my guess is that it then enters the illogical and wasteful stage and that anyone over that is probably bent and twisted.
The suckers who die with a large bank account seem to not realise that they've wasted a solid part of their lives making too much money - the ideal is to jump into the coffin when you have 1 cent only left in your pocket - if you've got more - you've wasted time making it and you can't spend it.

without going to the research - I'd guess the reverse of that -- I'm guessing that the real porn jockeys are probably high on the testosterone scale - which would bring competitiveness etc etc --
but, that would only run as true if the biological entity was otherwise normal
