    Given it takes a good 10,000 generations to create a new species it's hard to see evolution in action.

    But the evolution of human genomes continues as the rate of mutations is fairly constant. Most mutations are invisible and only spotted when ones genome is noted.

    We are aware of the great diversity of animal species because they had longer to evolve and shorter life cycles, but humans like any animal are also evolving over time.

    We see how populations have evolved when whites carried diseases to the new world causing most to soon die.

    So in my opinion humans are constantly evolving.
