    The problem with methamphetamine is the it changes the brain chemistry and it's permanent.

    For most meth addicts, they will always have a level of drug induced mental illness.

    The good old days of heroin addiction while ugly, once users became clean and sober they often had productive and quite normal lives.

    Opiates do very little physiological and mental harm.

    Methamphetamine is an insidious chemical cocktail that damages the brain and is totally destructive, recovery is often psych drugs and institutions.

    The actual use of meth in Australia is actually falling which is good news.
