As long as coal prices keep improving, WHC shares will rise. The FY2016 results were very positive. I wouldn't expect the SP to double overnight, but I think we'll see higher prices in the next few weeks.
The recent trading activity was Prudential selling 10M shares. Whether that caused the run up to $2.10 or the sell off back to $1.90 is anyone's guess.
On the plus side, a lot of brokers seem to be optimistic about the SP moving higher.
